The Snowdonia Society have taken responsibility for surveying and maintaining certain sections of the fantastic 83-mile-long Slate Trail. It was opened in 2017 and connects old footpaths that were used during the slate mining industry by quarry-workers. We will be travelling along a lovely riverside section from the Ugly House towards Betws y Coed, dealing with any overgrown vegetation or muddy parts along the way.

Your help will ensure that the hard work done in establishing the Trail lasts, so that many people can continue to enjoy the walk and our past heritage.

We hope you understand that due to the outbreak of (Covid-19) coronavirus, it may be necessary to cancel or change arrangements at relatively short notice in some circumstances. Our staff will strive to inform everyone who has booked to attend an event, but please do check the status of the event in advance by phone or email
