Volunteer: Spring Clean Wales – Dyfi Estuary

10:00 – 15:00, Dyfi Estuary

Caru Eryri is back in 2024!

Join us as we collaborate with Keep Wales Tidy for another year to take part in their biggest mass-action environmental campaign, Spring Clean.

As part of our efforts this year we will be running 4 volunteer days over the course of the Easter Bank Holidays.

For this day our efforts will be focused on the Southern border of Eryri on the banks of the Dyfi Estuary with stunning views of Eryri to the North and the Cambria mountains to the South.

A network of rivers and streams make up the large catchment area of this wonderful estuary which is only one of 11 sites in the UK which has been registered as an international Biosphere Reserve.

Unfortunately, water isn’t the only thing carried downstream by this river system. During periods of high tide litter carried by the water is deposited on the estuary’s banks.

Helps us protect the large numbers of wildfowl that feed here by helping us keep this area litter free once more.

Advance booking essential:

Please book using our volunteer software My Impact.  The first time you use our new system, My Impact, you will create an account. Once registered and approved by an administrator, you will be able to book yourself on volunteer days, without having to wait for a response from an administrator. We hope that this will make the booking system easier for you as volunteers.

If you have any problems with the software please email Jen who will be glad to help you with any issues you experience.
