Volunteer: Free practical Himalayan balsam accredited training

Volunteer: Free practical Himalayan balsam accredited training

10:00 – 15:00, Bethesda

Join us as we work with local communities to get to grips with the pink invader (Himalayan Balsam) as part of the Carneddau Landscape Project.

Himalayan Balsam is an aggressive non-native plant that suffocates native plants, pushing out native plant communities and is also responsible for the erosion of river banks.

As part of the day there will be an opportunity to learn more about the plant and take part in an accredited training unit.

Advance booking essential:

Please book using our volunteer software My Impact.  The first time you use our new system, My Impact, you will create an account. Once registered and approved by an administrator, you will be able to book yourself on volunteer days, without having to wait for a response from an administrator. We hope that this will make the booking system easier for you as volunteers.

If you have any problems with the software please email Jen who will be glad to help you with any issues you experience.
