Volunteer: Himalayan balsam bashing and accredited training

Volunteer: Himalayan balsam bashing and accredited training

10:00 – 15:00, Crafnant

Join us for a practical day tackling Himalayan balsam, and for an opportunity to take part in our accredited training on controlling invasive species.

Himalayan balsam is an aggressive non-native plant, which outcompetes other plants, decreasing biodiversity and destabilising ecosystems. It can also lead to riverbank erosion and the reduction in water quality of rivers.

This day is part of the work of the Carneddau Landscape Partnership.

We hope that this will make the booking system easier for you as volunteers.

If you have any problems with the software please email Jen who will be glad to help you with any issues you experience.
