Tara Leanne Hall

Conservation Officer

Tara is our Conservation Officer, so will be working alongside our volunteers during many of the practical conservation days.

Growing up in Ffestiniog, Tara is a fluent Welsh speaker who is passionate about caring for Eryri’s natural environment and heritage. She worked closely with the society in her previous role on the ENPA’S Carneddau Landscape Partnership scheme. This role saw her organising conservation days alongside partner organisations, establishing relationships with volunteers, community groups and schools, creating educational materials and more. She hopes to encourage and support more people to volunteer with the society, especially from marginalised communities to help them experience the richness of Eryri.

She holds a Lowland Leader qualification and is working towards becoming a Mountain Leader, to help people discover the landscape whilst also ensuring safety. She is also a Forest School leader, so don’t be surprised to see her getting creative outdoors. She enjoys hiking, mountain biking, outdoor swimming and the gentler activities of Yoga and reading on rainier days.

She looks forward to hopefully meeting you during an upcoming volunteering day!
