Stile building with the National Trust

There is an art to digging a good hole- and we dug many on our stile building session with the National Trust in Ysbyty Ifan. The new stile and waymarkers are helping to improve access to the landscape as well as helping lessen erosion and environmental disturbance by making the path more visible. Using a variety of tools, including the largest mallet we have ever seen, the team managed to build one step stile and install three new waymarkers by digging, filling, tamping and shovelling. Have you spotted them? Tested out the stile? Let us know!
