You did it! Over £50,000 raised to protect Snowdonia

This week marks a milestone for the Snowdonia Society, as our £50,000 ‘50 Years Future Fund’ fundraising target was reached, even surpassed, once total donations were calculated.

You helped us raise a grand total of £50,627, made up of a total of over 315 donations. A remarkable £26,650 came from individuals; after Gift Aid is added this amounts to over £30,000. Generous contributions also came from local businesses and events, including:

Director John Harold said: “We are overjoyed to reach our £50,000 target for the 50 Years Future Fund. This is huge: it shows how much people value the work we do to protect and enhance Snowdonia and and above all, how much people care about the future of our incredible National Park.”

The Snowdonia Society would like to say an enormous ‘Thank You’ to all of the individuals, businesses and organisations that donated towards the 50 Years Future Fund to mark our 50th anniversary.
