Snowdonia Society AGM 2022

Snowdonia Society AGM 2022

Members are warmly invited to our Annual General Meeting on 24th September at Bethesda Rugby Club by the river Ogwen.

Guest speaker Robbie Blackhall-Miles leads the Natur am Byth project to bring rare arctic-alpine ‘rock star’ plants and invertebrates back from the brink in Snowdonia. Natur am Byth is a national species recovery project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, led by a range of conservation charities and co-ordinated by Natural Resources Wales.

The day will be rounded off with two walk options – one gentle and one more strenuous. Both will feature aspects of the rich heritage that abounds at the head of Dyffryn Ogwen.

This is your opportunity to join the staff and trustee team in an enjoyable day, learn about the Society’s work over the past year and plans for the next. Please join us you’re sure of a warm welcome and good company.

Agenda: Please note the following additions to the Agenda:

Item 9: Election of Officers and Members of the Executive Committee:

  • Standing for election as Chair is Sue Beaumont
  • Standing for election as trustees for the first time are David Walker and Jane Barbrook.
