Go wild this winter…

Snowdonia mountains

…and get close to nature

Our events programme offers lots of opportunities in January and February to get out and get close to nature, with something to suit everyone.

You can take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch at Tŷ Hyll on 31st January. Talks include the Tundra in Wales (14th Jan) and the Geology of Mountains (15th Feb). Or for something more physically challenging, what about Rob Collister’s Winter Walk on Cadair Idris (24th Feb – book early to avoid disappointment).

Volunteer workdays include Alder Coppicing and Conifer Clearance at Abergwyngregyn, Yellow Azalea Control at Plas Tan y Bwlch and woodland restoration at Cwm Mynach. And that’s just in January!

And don’t forget Wildlife Gardening every Monday and Woodland Workdays at Tŷ Hyll. New volunteers are particularly welcome!
