Coast to Coast walk raises £320

Snowdonia Society volunteer Glynis Archer has successfully completed all 197 miles of the Coast to Coast Trail and she wants to thank all those who have supported her.

She raised £640 for her two chosen charities: the Snowdonia Society and the Glaslyn Wildlife (the Ospreys). It’s not too late to boost this total by making a donation now!

Dear Friends,

Made it into Robin Hood Bay on the 16th at 3pm with our Challenge completed, such a splendid feeling. I threw my St Bees pebble carried from the Irish Sea into the North Sea, duly fulfilling Wainwright’s tradition. We signed the Coast to Coast register in the Wainwrights Bar at the Bay Hotel and raised a glass to celebrate our achievement.

Although challenging, it was a wonderful experience which will long live in the memory.

Thank you so much to all of you who have donated or made a pledge towards my chosen charities. Your support and sponsorship have kept me going to fulfill this challenge.

Best wishes to you all.

Glynis
