Fabian4 Mountain Challenge raises £1,667

Fabian4 triathlon team

A massive thank you to the Fabian4 Dyffryn Conwy Mountain Challenge team for organising such a great event (13th September), which raised over £1,300 towards the Snowdonia Society’s work.

In addition, Snowdonia Society Director, John Harold, raised £367 in sponsorship from his team entry, making a total of more than £1,667!

John is very grateful to his team members, Andy Tickle, (Snowdonia Society member and Director of Friends of the Peak District) on the kayak section and Alice Jewer on the mountain biking section.

John says about the day, “I had done enough training to enjoy doing the fell run section, except for the last climb, by which stage my legs had gone to jelly! It was such a good day – thanks to my team-mates who were great, the weather which was spot-on and the organisers and marshals who gave so much time to make things run smoothly. The whole event had a wonderful friendly local event atmosphere.”

So, thank you to all of you who sponsored John, took part or helped out on the day.
