Woodland Volunteering, Tŷ Hyll
April may be synonymous with showers but this is also a time where Wildlife is in full bloom! Not least the presence of the migratory bird the Pied Fly Catcher which spends the winter in the much warmer climate of Western Africa before coming to the woodlands here at Tŷ Hyll to nest.
Ty Hyll (The Ugly House) is a distinct building which certainly attracts attention. Part of this unique building’s appeal is its wonderful setting.
The woodland and gardens that surround the house are not only appealing on the eye but home to a whole host of fauna and flora.
The monthly woodland workday parties offer something for everyone with a chance to test out some of your practical skills in woodland management!
