Walk: Managing hazards and emergency procedures in the mountains with Mike Raine *fully booked*
Bwlch Llanberis 09:00 – 16:00
A practical day during which we will investigate and dynamically risk assess the various hazards found in our hills. We’ll take time out to consider the what ifs and walk through emergency procedures. We do this in locations where there is phone reception and in areas where there is no phone reception. Whilst this is not a first aid course, I am an experienced first aid trainer and will be able to help you prioritise your actions should the worst happen.
The aim of the day is to take away some of the anxiety you may be feeling about having to deal with these situations as a leader and give you a series of practical, rational and logical steps to follow.
Fitness level – strenuous
