Volunteer: Guided chough count
15:00 – 17:00, Sychnant Pass
With its red beak and legs, glossy black plumage and unique squeaky call, the chough is a special resident of the Carneddau mountain range where it both feeds and roosts.
Join Jack Slattery from the RSPB to gather vital information on the rarest member of the crow family by counting choughs returning to roost for the night, and for a chance to learn more about these iconic birds.
