*POSTPONED* Tree Planting

Tree Planting, Llechwedd

Booking essential; places limited

Love the Carneddau? Come and join us and be part of this ambitious Landscape Partnership programme. The project will coordinate work to protect, enhance and celebrate some of the rich but fragile natural and cultural heritage of the Carneddau mountains.

The tree planting season is upon us, so come and join us as we return to the hills above Conwy to continue planting this new native woodland on the edge of already existing woodland at Parc Mawr.

The UK currently stands as one of the least wooded countries in Europe. If we wish to make a serious stand against climate change then increasing the number of trees is likely to play a key role.

This woodland will have several benefits including increasing the overall tree cover in the Wales which currently stands as one of the least wooded countries in Europe. If we wish to make a serious stand against climate change then increasing the number of trees is likely to play a key role.

This new woodland will not only help mitigate against climate change but will also be of great benefit to local wildlife in the area.

So, come and grab a spade and make a lasting impression on the landscape for many years to come!

We have clear protocols and risk assessments for coronavirus to allow us to carry out practical outdoor work as safely as possible. If you would like more information on these please get in touch. To ensure social distancing is possible at all times, the number of volunteers for each workday is strictly limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
