*POSTPONED* Tree Planting

Tree planting, Beddgelert

Booking essential; limited spaces

This work day is an opportunity to visit the National Trust rangers’ tree nursery, on their Hafod Garegog nature reserve, south of Beddgelert.

The young trees growing from local seed there won’t be ready to plant for another couple of years, but the trees that we will be planting on the field next to the nursery have been grown by a local grower. As the trees you plant here grow, they will join up the tree cover that is already in the valley, improving the habitat for and biodiversity of wildlife. Trees give many other benefits to the land including reducing flooding and capturing carbon.

No experience necessary!

We have clear protocols and risk assessments for coronavirus to allow us to carry out practical outdoor work as safely as possible. If you would like more information on these please get in touch. To ensure social distancing is possible at all times, the number of volunteers for this day is strictly limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
