Booking essential,

Grab a spade, reduce your carbon footprint and making a lasting impression on the landscape for many years to come!

Nant Gwynant is an area that has been plagued over the years by the invasive non-native species Rhododendron Ponticum. Although attractive the plants grows rapidly suffocating native flora and leaving a lifeless desert below the thick canopy.

Working in partnership with the SNPA and Wildlife Trust the society has been involved in removing this plant. With major progress having been made over the years many sites are now ready to be planted with native species restoring this beautiful area to woodlands full of life.
