*POSTPONED* Scything Bracken – Conwy county residents only

Booking essential; limited spaces

There is a special hillside in Conwy that erupts into a profusion of native Welsh, wild daffodils every spring. The wonderful display last spring is partly thanks to efforts to reduce the coverage of bracken where these daffodils grow. There are not many known areas where wild daffodils grow so we are keen to help these ones!

Learn the traditional skill of using a scythe and learn about how these dainty daffodils are being looked after by volunteers.

We have clear protocols and risk assessments for coronavirus to allow us to carry out practical outdoor work as safely as possible. If you would like more information on these please get in touch. Conwy conservation work days have been chosen carefully.  To ensure social distancing is possible at all times, the number of volunteers for each workday is strictly limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
