Situated between Criccieth and Porthmadog, Morfa Bychan (Greenacres) is owned and managed by the North Wales Wildlife Trust. The reserve is made up of a fantastic dune system which is home to several specialist species such as sea holly, burnet rose and skylark. It is one of only few places where a complete range of dune habitats are present from the strandline to relatively stable dune grassland.

We will be helping the Wildlife Trust to clear scrub that has encroached on the dunes (small trees, shrubs and brambles) in readiness for further work to help make the dunes more mobile and dynamic.

We have clear protocols and risk assessments for coronavirus to allow us to carry out practical outdoor work as safely as possible, if you would like more information on these please get in touch.  To ensure social distancing is possible at all times, the number of volunteers for each workday is strictly limited.  Please book early to avoid disappointment
