POSTPONED ‘Pitching in’ day

‘Pitching in’ day, Cwm Tryfan and Bochlwyd, Ogwen

Booking essential,

In 2018, in conversation with National Trust Wales, we came up with a plan: to jointly host a footpath maintenance day on the first Saturday of each month from April through to October. In 2020 we continue to offer this successful series of volunteer days.

Across these seven months we will help maintain some of Snowdonia’s most popular footpaths on Snowdon’s Watkin path, Glyder Fawr, Y Garn, Cwm Tryfan, Cwm Bychan and Craflwyn. This work will take you from the snow capped peaks of April, through the sweltering heat of June, and into the autumnal colours of October.

Not only do these days contribute to the continued access to beautiful valleys and mountains of the area but they are also an opportunity to soak up the expertise and knowledge of the National Trust Footpath Team who work on them.

These days occur on the first Saturday of the month between April and October.

Further details coming soon..
