Parc Padarn: Invasive Species clearance

Parc Padarn: Invasive Species clearance

10:00 – 15:00, Parc Padarn, Y Glyn

Live in Dyffryn Peris? Why not join one of our fortnightly Parc Padarn volunteer days?
This community-based project aims to connect local people with the ongoing management of Parc Padarn and support some of the great work already being carried out in this area.
Y Glyn on the southwestern bank of Llyn Padarn is slowly being engulfed by the invasive species Buddleia davidii (Butterfly Bush).
This popular garden plant is problematic as it rapidly invades and dominates disturbed natural areas across a wide range of conditions.

Advance booking essential:

Please book using our volunteer software My Impact.  The first time you use our new system, My Impact, you will create an account. Once registered and approved by an administrator, you will be able to book yourself on volunteer days, without having to wait for a response from an administrator. We hope that this will make the booking system easier for you as volunteers.

If you have any problems with the software please email Jen who will be glad to help you with any issues you experience.
