Litter Pick, Nant Gwynant
Keep Snowdonia looking beautiful by joining us on this Litter Pick event!
The focal point of the society and our dedicated volunteers is often on Snowdon itself in part due the high number of visitors that the mountain attracts each year. The areas surrounding Snowdon however do not escape the issue of litter.
The Snowdon Circular Route is a low level path that connects Llanberis to Rhyd Ddu connecting the 6 mains paths that lead to the summit. This circular route allows people to go up one path and down another and back to the starting point without the associated risk of the roads. Often it is the litter from these roads and popular paths that finds it way into the wider landscape blown by wind and carried by streams.
The focus for this day will be to clear the area down the valley between Pen y Pas and Nant Gwynant following the stream downwards taking in the spectacular views as we do so.
