Hedgerow Planting

Hedgerow Planting, Conwy

Booking essential

The Pensychnant estate between Conwy and Penmaenmawr has been managed specifically with nature in mind for thirty years. For a long time, volunteers from the Snowdonia Society have given practical help at Pensychnant.

A new hedgerow has been planned to divide one large field into two. This will eventually provide homes, shelter and food for a great variety of wildlife as well as a safer way across the field for small animals. Come along to help plant young trees (‘whips’), knowing that your work will have a huge benefit for nature. Snowdonia Society volunteers have already begun the job and we will finish it today. It would be great to know that you were involved with the very early days of this hedgerow!
