Great British Beach Clean, Dinas Dinlle

Great British Beach Clean, Dinas Dinlle

Booking essential; limited spaces

Beach cleans are happening across Britain this September to clear litter after the summer and to gather information to contribute to records of marine litter across the UK. The Marine Conservation Society has previously used such data to help bring about changes including the plastic bag charge, the banning of micro-plastics in personal care products, better labelling of wet-wipes and support for tax on single-use plastic.

A lot of litter ends up in the sea (where it harms marine life) from inland areas via the wind blowing it into streams. You can therefore take part even if you don’t live near a beach by visiting www.mcsuk.org for information of their Source to Sea Litter Quest.

We have clear protocols and risk assessments for coronavirus to allow us to carry out practical outdoor work as safely as possible, if you would like more information on these please get in touch.  To ensure social distancing is possible at all times, the number of volunteers for each workday is strictly limited.  Please book early to avoid disappointment.
