Grassland management day

Booking essential

Help show your support for the Snowdonia Society and the North Wales Wildlife Trust (NWWT) by supporting our work outside the national park boundaries. We have been invited by NWWT to help maintain an important grassland reserve on the outskirts of Bangor. “Eithinog is a haven of herb-rich meadows, mature hedgerows, gorse scrub, copses, rush pasture, willow and alder carr. The fields are rich in wildlife and are nationally important for their grassland fungi” North Wales Wildlife Trust. If you are looking for something a bit closer to home, this is your chance to see exactly how we and the NWWT are working together for the benefit of North Wales. Tasks for the day will include grassland management and scrub clearance.
