Footpath Maintenance

Footpath Maintenance, Cwm Idwal

Booking essential; places limited

Cwm Idwal, as Wales’ first National Nature Reserve, is a very popular place to walk. Its location and views are stunning.

Although a low-level path, being in the mountains Cwm Idwal experiences bad weather with occasional rockfalls. That means that maintenance work is vital, to clear any culverts blocked with stones or silt and ensure that the path has good drainage.

We have clear protocols and risk assessments for coronavirus to allow us to carry out practical outdoor work as safely as possible. If you would like more information on these please get in touch. To ensure social distancing is possible at all times, the number of volunteers for each workday is strictly limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
