Footpath Maintenance

Footpath Maintenance, Pyg Track (Snowdon)

Booking essential; places limited

The PyG track is one of the most popular paths up one of the most visited mountains in the world. Many hundreds of thousands of people walk this path every year.

The drains, culverts and ditches on Snowdon’s paths regularly fill with small stones and gravel when heavy rain swells the streams – unavoidable on a steep mountain. Join us for some fun manual labour with stunning views from the highest mountain in Wales and England. If you love mountain hiking and use these footpaths yourself, then this is the volunteer day for you.

We have clear protocols and risk assessments for coronavirus to allow us to carry out practical outdoor work as safely as possible, if you would like more information on these please get in touch. To ensure social distancing is possible at all times, the number of volunteers for each workday is strictly limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
