Creative workshop: Remembered routes

Creative workshop: Remembered routes

Betws y Coed 09:45 – 16:00

In this creative workshop lead by Mia Walker and Caroline Schofield from Guided by Nature we’ll reflect on personally meaningful linear routes that we’ve walked, especially in Eryri.

We will collect our thoughts and recollections in the form of words and visual notes. We will then discuss what the lines on a map and routes across a landscape mean to us on a deeper level and how they enhance our lives. We’ll also take a short walk* along the river and forest near the venue. Then, at the end of the day, you’ll have a chance to make a small, simple booklet as a memento of a remembered route.

You do not need any prior artistic experience to participate.

*If you’re not able to walk appreciable distances, you can choose to stay in or near the venue.

Activity level – easy.

Free – £10 deposit to be refunded following attendance.
