Care for Snowdonia: ‘Nature of Snowdonia’ walk with Mike Raine *FULLY BOOKED*

Care for Snowdonia: ‘Nature of Snowdonia’ walk with Mike Raine

Free guided walk with author, mountaineering instructor, and Snowdonia expert Mike Raine.

The day covers all of the components of the environment such as geology, geomorphology, glaciation, flowers, mosses, clubmosses, lichen, ferns, tress and, to be honest, anything else we happen to pass. It also looks at the human impact on the landscape over the years and considers competing land use demands today.

Part of the Care for Snowdonia project, this day is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the wildlife and unique challenges of the National Park. A great day out of Care for Snowdonia volunteers or anyone who wants to learn more about Snowdonia!
