Botanical Walk and Draw, Llanberis
18:30-20:30, Llanberis and Llyn Padarn
Cae’r Ddôl (the meadow field) sits on the south-west shore and in the flood plain of Llyn Padarn. It hosts spectacular views of Eryri and contains an array of unique plants and wildflowers.
Join conservation horticulturalist Robbie Blackhall-Miles for an introduction to this SSSI and the community that works to protect it (English language). Following the walk there will be an optional workshop to paint wildflowers by the waterside with Claire from the Snowdonia Society and Lowri Hedd from GwyrddNi.
This is a partner event to draw attention to the humble beauty of the plants that feature in this sublime landscape.
