Volunteers worked hard through the Mad March weather!

A look back at February

New Project Officer for Tŷ Hyll
We are delighted to welcome Tamsin Fretwell, who has taken over the role of Project Officer for the Growing Tŷ Hyll project. Tamsin brings with her a wealth of experience: from practical hands on management of reserves to organising many events for the public. “There will be something for everyone” says Tamsin when asked about her plans “from bug hunts for the kids to formal training in identification skills, I’m keen to make sure that the Growing Tŷ Hyll project has something that appeals to everyone!” So watch this space!

Our best volunteer week yet!
Last week a group of our volunteers headed out for five days of practical action! With tools at the ready, they worked hard to conserve and enhance different areas of our special national park – what a great way to explore! With a different activity organised for each day there was something for everyone – whether they wanted to maintain Snowdon’s well trodden footpaths or to clear Himalayan balsam from a Special Area of Conservation.
