Big Give campaign pledges to double online donations to the Snowdonia Society
The Snowdonia Society will benefit from a doubling of charity donations between Thursday 22 April and Thursday 29 April thanks to The Big Give’s Green Match Fund 2021.
Supporters of the Snowdonia Society are invited to donate through the Big Give online portal during the seven days, as part of a bid to raise £5000 to support their volunteer effort in the National Park this summer.
Snowdonia Society Director John Harold, said
“We’re expecting record numbers of visitors in Snowdonia this year and we need as much help as possible to raise our target fund of £5k through the Big Give campaign which pledges to double any donation we receive between the week of 22-29 April 2021.
Raising these funds will help us to recruit, equip, train and lead volunteers to help protect our amazing National Park, as well as help us develop effective environmental messaging to the public.”
He added: “We’re delighted to have been selected by the BigGive to take advantage of this environmental fundraising opportunity. It shows that word is getting out about our on-the-ground commitment to protecting Snowdonia”
