Bethan at Tŷ Hyll

Inspiring people of all ages to love Snowdonia’s nature.

We are pleased to welcome Bethan Wynne Jones to the Snowdonia Society team, as the new Growing Tŷ Hyll Officer. Bethan has already put together an inspiring programme of activies at Tŷ Hyll, including a Bees & Trees Treasure HuntSmall Mammal Survey Training and a Spider Safari.

See Tŷ Hyll events for a full list.

Bethan is a recent graduate in Wetland Science and Conservation, a local farmer’s daughter and fluent Welsh speaker. Under the Snowdonia Ecosystem Project banner, Bethan will inspire ever more people to get involved in and excited about conservation, wildlife gardening, woodland management and of course, Snowdonia.

Charmed by the Ugly House?

Bethan is putting together an inspiring programme of activies at Tŷ Hyll, with opportunities to find out more about what this fantastic place has to offer, or talk to visitors about why you love Tŷ Hyll as well as about the Snowdonia Society’s wider work in Snowdonia. If you are charmed by this amazing little place, whether its the honeybee garden, the pied fly-catchers, the frogs or just the tranquil atmosphere, come and tell people about it!

Volunteers needed!
