Sarah Medcalf
Currently on maternity leave, Sarah is Director of the Snowdonia Society. She lives in Ceunant and is an active member of Porthmadog Rowing Club and a keen mountaineer. Sarah is working hard to add Welsh to the list of languages she speaks fluently (after English, German and French). Sarah is passionate about wildlife and conservation and also loves to discover new places, watch sunsets and bake cakes.
Frances Smith
Frances is the Office Administrator, managing the Society's membership, developing the website and helping with other office tasks. A fluent Welsh speaker she has lived in Dyffryn Nantlle on the doorstep of Snowdonia for more than 20 years. In her free time she enjoys walking and cycling, wildlife gardening and slow food, and music and dancing.

Mary-Kate Jones
Mary-Kate is the Conservation Snowdonia Project Manager, developing and directing our conservation volunteering programme and recruiting new volunteers to carry out practical work in the National Park. Mary-Kate is employed with financial support from CCW and the SNPA.
Mary-Kate is passionate about the conservation of Snowdonia having lived in North Wales all her life. In her spare time she enjoys hill walking, salsa dancing and yoga. She also loves cooking and making new things from old.

Jenny Whitmore
Jenny is the Conservation Snowdonia Project Officerand co-ordinates the Snowdonia Society's conservation volunteers. She supports Mary-Kate in the practical delivery of conservation workdays and ensures the continuing growth of our volunteer database.
Jenny’s undergraduate and post-graduate studies at Bangor University focused on marine zoology and environmental protection. In her spare time Jenny enjoys yoga, climbing and walking.

Huw Jenkins
Huw Jenkins is acting as the cover Director during Sarah Medcalf's maternity leave. A passionate advocate of National Parks and Snowdonia, Huw has worked as a journalist bringing greater awareness and appreciation of what Snowdonia has to offer and the challenges it faces. He is also Marketing Manager for Natur Cymru magazine. He regularly contributes to the Society's work as a volunteer leading walks and writing accounts of other Society activities.
