Classic Eryri Scramble: Tryfan and Glyderau

Join celebrated alpinist Rob Collister for a spectacular grade 1 scramble up Tryfan and the Glyderau mountains, in the rocky heart of Snowdonia.

According to Welsh scholar Ifor Williams, the word “Glyder” derives from the word “Cludair”, meaning a heap of stones, making this spectacular scrambling country where Victorian mountaineers used to train in preparation for great Himalayan expeditions.
