Dinorwig Distillery joins as a Business Member

The brand new local enterprise has signed up to become a Business Member of the Snowdonia Society. Dinorwig Distillery, based in a former quarryman’s cottage near the imposing slate quarry above Llyn Padarn, is using locally-sourced botanicals and water from a natural spring to produce their signature Blue Slate Gin or Jin Llechen Las.

Gin 1We are very keen to promote local organisations, particularly in the conservation sector” says Jessica Eade from the Dinorwig Distillery. “Juniper is an endangered species in the UK, and so we import ours from Macedonia where it grows in abundance. We would like to see this situation change and so we have partnered with conservation organisations to support the regeneration of Juniper and other plant species in the UK”.

Dinorwig Distillery will give 10{cfe7b007ef2d97d6c94c66bdf5fd69182957ee376eb8b20ce6b541889da3df98} off direct sales to members of the Snowdonia Society. Catch them at the Portmeirion Food & Craft Fair 1st – 3rd December and the Fron Goch Garden Centre Christmas Launch Event on 11th & 12th November where they will be launching their Blue Slate Gin.
