Partneriaid yn y Parc	Partners in the Park
Mae Cymdeithas Eryri, sydd eleni’n dathlu 40 mlynedd fel y prif gorff elusennol sy’n gweithio i warchod y Parc Cenedlaethol, wedi lansio cynllun aelodaeth gorfforedig newydd, ac yn gwahodd busnesau sy’n rhannu’r un dymuniad o warchod a gwellhau'r Parc, i ymuno fel ‘Partneriaid yn y Parc’ (‘Partners in the Park™’). Mae’r Gymdeithas yn gweithredu i geisio sicrhau fod buddiannau’r Parc yn cael eu hamddiffyn, a bu iddi chwarae rhan fwyfwy blaenllaw wrth wellhau’r tirwedd godidog drwy amrywiaeth o fentrau gan gynnwys rhaglen gadwraeth wirfoddol, a enillodd wobr, a’u menter ddiweddaraf i hybu twristiaeth gynaliadwy. Mae pwysigrwydd economaidd y Parciau Cenedlaethol wedi dod i’r amlwg mewn ymchwil diweddar. Maent yn cyfrannu dros £177m y flwyddyn i economi Cymru. “Pwrpas ‘Partneriaeth yn y Parc’ (Partnership for the park™) yw cynnig cyfle i fusnesau chwarae rhan mewn ymgyrch gadwraethol ar gyfer y tirwedd unigryw, gwerthfawr hwn” , medd Dan James, Cyfarwyddwr Gweithredu’r Gymdeithas. “Mae miliynau o ymwelwyr yn mwynhau’r Parc bob blwyddyn, ac mae mwy na 26,000 o bobl yn byw yma. Mae cymunedau bywiog a chynaliadwy’n hollbwysig i les y Parc, ac mae gan fusnesau ran enfawr i’w chwarae.” Mae Gwesty’r Royal Oak, yng nghanol Betws y Coed, un o bentrefi mwyaf poblogaidd y Parc, wedi cefnogi gwaith y Gymdeithas ers amser maith, ac maent yn falch mai nhw oedd y cyntaf i fod yn ‘Bartner yn y Parc’ gyda’r Gymdeithas. “Y Parc yw anadl einioes ein busnes”, meddai Glenn Evans, Cyfarwyddwr a Rheolwr Cyffredinol y gwesty. “Mae’n fraint ein bod wedi ein lleoli mewn amgylchedd mor arbennig, ac mae’n anrhydedd i fod yr aelod corfforedig cyntaf”. Yn sgil aelodaeth gorfforedig mae hawl gan fusnesau dderbyn nifer o freintiau sy’n cynnwys, ym mysg eraill: Ymddangos mewn cyhoeddiadau ac ar wefan boblogaidd y Gymdeithas Copïau o gylchgrawn lliw proffesiynol y Gymdeithas yn llawn o’r newyddion diweddaraf a barn am y Parc Cyfleoedd i’r gweithwyr gael cymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau gwirfoddol Cyfle i drafod a derbyn cyngor am faterion yn ymwneud â Pharciau Cenedlaethol - gan gynnwys twristiaeth, cynllunio, cadwraeth a materion tebyg. Cydnabyddir unrhyw gefnogaeth drwy dystysgrif lliw personol, gan ganiatáu i fusnesau ddangos eu hymrwymiad i’r elusen. “Mae’r cynllun yn ymwneud â phartneriaeth, a dweud y gwir - yr angen i bob adran gyd-weithio er lles y Parc,” medd Dan James. “Dros y 40 mlynedd diwethaf mae’r Gymdeithas wedi elwa o gefnogaeth miloedd o gefnogwyr unigol. ‘Rydym yn gobeithio bydd y cynllun newydd hwn hefyd yn caniatáu i ni adeiladau a datblygu perthynas hirdymor gyda’r sector breifat”. Mae derbyn aelodaeth gorfforedig a bod yn “Bartner yn y Parc” yn costio cyn lleied a £30 i fusnesau gyda 10 neu lai o weithwyr, yn codi ar raddfa symudol i £100 i’r rheiny â mwy na 50 o weithwyr. The Snowdonia Society, which this year celebrates 40 years as the leading charity working for the National Park, has launched a new corporate membership scheme and is inviting any business that shares its aims of protecting and enhancing the Park to become ‘Partners in the Park™’. The Society actively campaigns to ensure the interests of the National Park are upheld and has played an increasing role in pro actively enhancing the outstanding landscape through numerous initiatives including an award-winning volunteer conservation programme and their latest venture promoting sustainable tourism. Recent research has highlighted the economic importance of National Parks, which contribute over £177m each year to the economy of Wales. “Partnership for the park™ is all about offering businesses an opportunity to play their part in the conservation of this unique and valuable landscape” commented Dan James, Operations Director of the Society. “Each year millions of visitors enjoy the park and over 26, 000 people live here. Vibrant and sustainable communities are essential to the long term well being of the Park and businesses have a huge role to play.” The Royal Oak Hotel, situated in the centre of Betws y Coed, one of the Parks most popular villages, has long supported the Society’s work and are now proud to be their first ‘Partner in the Park’. “The Park is the lifeblood of our whole business operation” said Glenn Evans, Director and General Manger of the hotel. “We are privileged to be located in such unique surroundings and to be the first corporate member is an honour”. Corporate membership entitle businesses to many benefits including, amongst others: Exposure on the Society’s popular website, and publications Copies of the Society’s professional colour magazine featuring the latest news and views on the Park Opportunities for employee volunteering activities Opportunity for discussion and advice on National Park issues – including tourism, planning, conservation and similar issues. Support will also be recognised with a personalised colour certificate, allowing businesses to demonstrate their commitment to the charity. “The scheme really is all about partnership – the need for all sectors to work together for the benefit of the Park,” concluded Dan James. “Over the last 40 years the Society has benefited from the support of thousands of individual supporters. We hope that this new scheme will now allow us to build strong and lasting relationships with the private sector also.” To become a corporate member and “Partner in the Park” costs from as little as £30 for businesses with 10 or less employees rising on a sliding scale to just £100 for those with over 50 employees.
