Seremoni Wobrwyo Twristiaeth Eryri Werdd 2008

Green Snowdonia Tourism Awards Ceremony 2008

Bydd busnesau gwyrdd blaengar Eryri yn casglu ynghyd ar gyfer Seremoni Wobrwyo Twristiaeth Eryri Werdd 2008 am 2 y prynhawn ar ddydd Mawrth 20fed Mai 2008 yng Nghanolfan Astudiaethau Amgylchedd Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri, Plas Tan y Bwlch, Maentwrog.

 

Gwahoddir busnesau twristiaeth i ymuno â ni i ddathlu a llongyfarch busnesau lleol sydd ar flaen y gad o ran gwarchod a gwella amgylchedd unigryw Eryri.  Bydd cyflwyniadau gan Caerwyn Roberts (Cadeirydd Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri) a Wendy Charles-Warner, perchennog Neuadd Hafod Elwy, prif enillydd Gwobrwyon Twristiaeth Eryri Werdd 2007.

 

Wedi’r sgyrsiau a’r cyflwyniadau, wrth fwynhau te, teisennau a golygfeydd hardd yng Nghanolfan Gynhadledd ac Addysg y Stablau, bydd cyfle i sgwrsio gyda chynrychiolwyr cyrff sy’n cynnig cefnogaeth i’r diwydiant twristiaeth ac i ddarganfod mwy ynglŷn â sut i wneud busnesau’n fwy cynaliadwy.

Mentr gan Gymdeithas Eryri yw Project Eryri Werdd a ariennir gan Gronfa Datblygu Cynaliadwy CAE a Chyngor Cefn Gwlad Cymru.

Snowdonia’s trailblazing green businesses will gather for the Green Snowdonia Tourism Awards Ceremony 2008 at 2pm on Tuesday 20th May 2008 at the Snowdonia National Park Authority Environmental Studies Centre, Plas Tan y Bwlch, Maentwrog.

 

Tourism businesses are invited to join us to celebrate and congratulate local businesses who are leading the way in protecting and enhancing the unique environment of Snowdonia.  There will be presentations from Cllr Caerwyn Roberts (Chairman of the Snowdonia National Park Authority) and Wendy Charles-Warner, owner of Hafod Elwy Hall, overall winner the Green Snowdonia Tourism Awards 2007.

 

After the talks and presentations, whilst enjoying tea, cakes and beautiful views in the Stablau Conference and Education Centre, there will be a chance to talk to representatives of organisations offering support to the tourism industry and find out more about how to make businesses more sustainable.

The GSTAs 2008 are sponsored by Gwynedd County Council, Conwy Borough County Council, Snowdonia National Park Authority, Visit Wales, Carbon Trust, and the Countryside Council for Wales. 

 

The Green Snowdonia Project is a Snowdonia Society initiative funded by CAE Sustainable Development Fund and the Countryside Council for Wales.
